Halloween

We had a blast this Halloween! The girls both dressed up like Minnie Mouse... they were adorable!

While I was making Kate's tutu I couldn't get her out of it, but on Halloween night she wanted nothing to do with dressing up! Emma on the other hand loved her costume... sucking on Minnie's bow kept her perfectly happy!

We finally convinced Kate to put her costume on and off we went trick-or-treating. Emma was happy, as usual, Kate was having a great time but wanted to stop and eat her candy after each house. After about 10 houses she was done and wanted to come home- which was fine with us because we were not looking forward to the sugar overload. We finished the night off by going up to Grandma and Grandpa's house for some yummy chili!

Emma's Blessing

It was Emma's Big Day on Sunday! She got blessed by her Daddy. He gave her a beautiful blessing... for the part I heard (Kate was frantically searching through our church bag for water during the blessing).
It was so fun to get her all dressed up in her beautiful dress! After her blessing we went to Jensen Park and had brunch. It was great to spend the day with our families. Jon and I have been blessed to have such great families who support our little family in everything we do!

"Momma, Dada I want temple"

These were some of Kate's first words when she woke up on Saturday morning. As her father it was music to my ears. So what do you do when you live in Utah and your daughter request to see the temple? Of course you take her to see your Family's temple.



Carrie and I figured it would be great to take her to the Ogden Temple since it will be closed down for remolding for a while. Since it was a bit chilly Carrie and Emma stayed in the car while our Niece and I took Kate around the temple grounds. We got some pretty cute pictures of Kate.



I only hope in 20 years Kate is still saying "Momma, Dada I want temple".
